Court: Bath to a nursing home patient constitutes furnishing of medical services
(4/10/2023) - The Supreme Court has ruled that administering a bath to a patient suffering from dementia, and who was unable to walk or speak, “falls outside the scope of general custodial care” and “constitutes the furnishing of a medical service which can lead to professional liability for purposes of the Malpractice Act.”
